In fact, the pilot movie was made in 1969 though not released till 1989. I would say that the first Lupin series, i.e. the Green Jacket series was the first Seinin series. While Mazinger Z would be the first mecha anime intended for teens.Anthonynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4303776083224180160.post-81589475067169440492011-06-28T11:22:52.905-07:002011-06-28T11:22:52.905-07:00I wonder if Lupin III existed back in the golden a...I wonder if Lupin III existed back in the golden age of anime you're talkin' about. I have aged neighbors who are still into anime, and I often hear them argue about the first anime show ever. One says it's Lupin and the other says it's Mazinger Z. Which is it, really? Thanks! Your answer might help them, though! I'd really like to share it with them. :DMichelle Pendleltonhttp://www.veoh.com/watch-free-streaming-movies-onlinenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4303776083224180160.post-18769846434614651592011-06-13T03:11:45.845-07:002011-06-13T03:11:45.845-07:00NIIICENIIICEReganstrongbloodnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4303776083224180160.post-29952123771614211502011-06-12T20:32:06.205-07:002011-06-12T20:32:06.205-07:00Thanks for the info on hokuto no gun, and their ki...Thanks for the info on hokuto no gun, and their kinnikuman fansub.Justinnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4303776083224180160.post-91359982921717857902011-06-01T15:48:22.127-07:002011-06-01T15:48:22.127-07:00Sweet thanks for the link. The pulpy sci-fi stuff clashes way too much with the digital coloring and CGI.Zach McCuenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4303776083224180160.post-21894663389961492582011-05-26T22:57:06.593-07:002011-05-26T22:57:06.593-07:00Hey Anthony thats a good idea, im not sure though....Hey Anthony thats a good idea, im not sure though.
We need some Japanese anime scholars to schools us on this...

Dustin I can send you a email with megaupload links for the spt layzner your missing no problem man. Im not sure if anime is being catagorized by the age of comics or the age of man.

Yea Regan, thought you were dead, or off the face of the planet, either or. Good to have you back.

Speaking of fansubs, im having a hard time trying to get the rest (or whats left) of SPT Layzner online. I got episodes 1-9 a couple of months ago and, I did like it. Its like Space Camp, only with aliens and robots, and Mars. But im having trouble trying to get the rest of it to finish on my BT que. I didnt know if there is a better tracker to use or a way to just send me a zip/rar file of anything past episode 10. I do have the OVA but its just raw episodes.

Yea, i saw Exper Zenon recently, its a good, fun, enjoyable OVA.Dustin Kopplinnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4303776083224180160.post-80267414842598725222011-05-25T22:54:43.225-07:002011-05-25T22:54:43.225-07:00Welcome back, man!
