Noooo~! Regan, why'd you have to cut your hair?! Now we don't look alike haha. Though recently I did cut my hair as well, though not as short. I'm still rockin' the long hair love.

Anywho, glad to have another episode out! I shall listen to it....NOW!

Hey Regan, glad to listen in on a new episode! Nice haircut! For the date of Astro boy's first appearance it was in 1951 as a supporting character in a manga called Captain Atom. Tezuka rewrote Astro boy in 1952 and gave him his own title. I also forgot to mention that I got the ova series of Blackjack and the anime version. The anime is a lot more tame than the manga like the new Astro boy anime.

Mr Peter Jackson, is it true that you are writing the script for the next Hobbit film?

Thank you!

Well, I finished listening!

I agree, Canadian anime dubs are sooo much better, and usually not as cut up as the American releases).

I don't think a proper goodbye episode will happen Regan.Things between us are complicated and shit.He hasn't spoken to me in like a month or so now.

Anycase regarding Astro ; I think you'll pass out if you see how expensive the 1980's Astro is over here.Last time I checked it was very close to $180 USD.

I tried the 2003 version for 20 eps or so but I just couldn't finish it.The art felt just too cutesy for a show that deals with some pretty harsh topics and stuff.

that cutesy look mixed in with serious topics is my very fav style of all!!!

That is the style of Osamu Tezuka, the very man who help mold what anime would become...

I really love the spaceship designs Tezuka draws, especially the backgrounds! Without Osamu Tezuka there would be no anime.

Don't forget his cute art was inspired by Disney and Fliesher cartoons!
