For a moment I thought Gold Lighten was going to show up! lol. Hope you talk about the "BREAST FORCE" in part two! I can't believe Spider-man guest-starred in issue #3 of the comic book.
No, No, Riggs, I was refering to the G1 Japan subgroup who had detachable plates on their chests or rather BREASTS that transformed in smaller robots.
They were a combiner group that turns into the gestalt Liokaiser.
Now you really got me talking transformers!
Lol I looked at what you wrote and was thinking of beast wars, some how my brain read beast force instead of breast force. Sorry man my bad, I never was too big on Transformers and I know very little of said Breast force. I do have a comic with Gi joe and the Transformers though. Sorry for the screw up man
Eh, no biggie Regan. Speaking of G.I.Joe Did you know that Hasbro sold the rights to GI Joe in 1974 to Takara? That lead to Takara developing a toyline, of probably the first 3.75 inch toys of a group of transparent cyborgs, MICROMAAANNNN!
Ugh! I really dont know if I can stand to keep watching Transformers, I might never get part 2 done. We shall see, until then ODINWORLDS is born!!
I'm with anthony, Gold Lightan needs to make another appearance. That episode is amazing.
Awesome episode by the way Regan.
Karl, Goldlightan will return in the next few episodes on Anime82, this I promise... He may also show up on another anime podcast as soon as next week aswell. Thanks for the kind words Karl.
Anthony thanks for always being a loyal listner I appreciate all the questions and comments.
Great podcast! Regarding what you might talk about in part 2...
I thought Zone was really good. Well animated, it felt like the beginning of an epic Brave series.
A lot of the story of the Japanese transformers was never animated, but was only presented as comics and these large image spreads included in magazines. That's where you get awesome 90's era mecha designs like Guiltar, Star Convoy, and Ultra Megatron.
And then there's Beast Wars 2, where the Japanese create a sequel to the serious American CG series into a gag animated cartoon that is mostly terrible. There was a movie made for Beast Wars 2 that was somewhat serious, and animated well. I liked that.
